What the registry asks for

These are the .net.tr registry's own rules. Not every extension works this way.

Renewal period

1 to 5 years

Grace period after expiry

4 days

Redemption period

45 days

How far ahead it can be paid

5 years before expiry

If the name is with us

You do not have to watch it: we write before it expires, and it is one click in your account. With a saved card it renews by itself.

If it is somewhere else

You can renew it here once you have moved it here. A transfer adds a year to the expiry as it goes.

If it has already expired

A name can still be saved for a while after it expires, though not for every extension and not for free. The deadlines are above.
